SPARKLING SHIRAZ 2017 PER CASE

Our 2017 Sparkling Shiraz by the case (12 bottles), has a discount of $50 on the individual bottle price. It is 100% estate grown and produced, with natural yeasts from the Avonmore Vineyard. Open fermented, with the skins left on for 3 weeks then basket pressed out and matured in American oak barrels for 18 months. Then cold stabilised for 24 hours prior to bottling on-site.
This wine is produced at the same time as our still Shiraz, but fermentation is stopped before it’s a dry wine, leaving behind residual sugar to start a secondary ferment. This creates a soft “Musse” sparkling bubbles, a method known as “Charmat ferment.”
The wine is not artificially carbonated.
All Avonmore Estate Wines are grown and made without any chemical inputs in both the vineyard and winery. Certified "Demeter" biodynamic for 30 years. Wines are full-bodied, and full of fruit flavour.
All wines are naturally fermented, hand grown and handcrafted, and no sulphites are added.
All are vegan / vegetarian suitable as we do not fine filter with any egg, fish or bi-products.
Matured in American Oak Barrels, long cellaring potential.
